Diabetes affects millions across the Asia Pacific region, which is home to over half of the world’s diabetes population. Effective management of diabetes is essential to prevent serious complications and reduce healthcare costs.
Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) empowers individuals to manage diabetes more effectively through real-time glucose insights. However, many APAC countries still face challenges in accessing CGM due to limited reimbursement and affordability issues.
Jointly developed by the Diabetes in Asia Study Group (DASG) and Vista Health, and sponsored by Roche Diagnostics, this white paper explores the health, economic, and humanistic value of CGM reimbursement across the region. It also sets out key policy recommendations to advance access to CGM tailored to the Asia Pacific’s diverse healthcare contexts.
